Requirements:
1.) Replika discovered.
2.) Skid and LW's located outside of Replika.
This guide will use the mountain replika type and layout.
Pilot over to the replika's entrance and click “align” or enter skid.do.align
You will see a data stream connect to the skid and open a “digital sea sensors” window.
Now you are ready to cryptosmash the lock and open it up.
enter cryptosmasher
and run cryptosmasher.replika
or crypto.replika
Now we have a password window that looks similar to the carthage password window when you need to connect to it. However, take note the name of the window as its the name of the replika. They are randomized and each hint is treated differently!
This password is needed to dock at towers.
This needs to be done to view inside the replika's virtual world. You will lose track of the skid on your vmap without the password being entered.
Now, right click and go into the backpack contents, select the ‘Book' icon tab, and then select the “Punic Wars” book, as this will have the passwords to the mountain replikas. (If you get a desert replika you need to open the “Battles of Ancient Africa” instead)
Flip through the pages in the book until you find the name of your replika and follow the clues.
Example: Magara
My book has the name written here, which has a blue square by it.
Now i will follow it to the second hint which is the blue square so I will look for another blue square.
Here it is on a sticky note, which happened to be on the last page but its referencing P. 71. So lets go to page 71.
Here on page 71 it shows the password “salammbo”. Don't get distracted by the other pages of the book and their symbols.
I know the password window looks like it should only expect 6 characters but it can and will allow more. Type the entire password.
My example here is megara replika with the password salammbo.
Once the password is entered I will get a connection to the heart of the replika much like our connection to carthage.
Enter the tunnel of the replika by clicking “enter world” or skid.do.enter
You will notice there are only two towers and one sector. There only ever will be these two towers.
Send the skid over to the tower skid.to.1
and have it align & dock skid.do.align
skid.do.dock
.
Once there we need to activate the tower with transm before we can TP some people in.
When attacking a replika, you will have to pay attention to the events that happen on the vmap and and replika map at the same time.
First lets get some defenders out of the skid.
For this example I will use Aelita and Odd to start the assault, followed by Ulrich and Yumi and leave William to defend the skid until necessary.
(I do not recommend sending any more than 2 people at a time, it's a waste of energy and resources!)
Since those two are going to TP in first lets get the rest out to defend with these commands.sktrans.eout
- designates the sktrans program to energize people out of the skid into the virtual world where its docked.sktrans.<lwName>
- designating a specific person to 'energize out'. Everyone can be selected with sktrans.all
but as I said before, we want to hold onto Aelita and Odd to not create more work for ourselves. Launch the energizing with sktrans.exe
.
Example:sktrans.ulrich
sktrans.yumi
sktrans.william
sktrans.exe
To verify we have selected the right people their icons will highlight yellow.
Now we need to activate the tower to TP in.
You can only activate the tower once.
We only have 4100 Energy in general, which is plenty if we play this right.
We have a very short amount of time between everything from this point on and its going to be juggling a lot of things!
Enter the following commands:transm
transm.to.tskid
- designates tower docked skidtransm.exe
So now we just burnt 1000 energy activating a tower, now we are going to burn the last 3000 by teleporting two people in, 1500 energy per person, you could send a third if you really want to turn off two scanners but it's not necessary with this method.
We will be using the crypto a few times during our stay, so to get some energy for it we can turn off a scanner. To do so type scanners
then select one either by clicking on it or typing scanners.<1 or 2 or 3>
and turn it off with scanners.off
. To turn back the scanner just select it again and type scanners.on
.
Xana doesn't love unexpected visitors, therefore he welcomes us with a larger swarm of monsters when we enter the replika.
The best way to defend is to have everyone out for this one battle, then you can send your first duo of assaulting warriors back to the skid to teleport them inside.
We only get one transfer per character. Make the chances as useful as possible.
To teleport your warriors inside a replika factory, type sktrans.tpin
. You should see the mode at the bottom of the sktrans
window change to TLI (TeLeport In, if you want to think of it that way).
Then we will select the warriors with sktrans.<lwName>
.
Here, I ran sktrans.aelita
sktrans.odd
.
Run sktrans.exe
to send them into the replika.
You'll see the two warriors beside the tower showing they are being projected into the world.
Two other windows will appear:
rmap
which is essentially the vmap of replikas. To move your team you have to click on object you want them to go to.The yellow highlights boarder shows who the leader is. Its basically the person who will consume their energy to interact with things and they will be the first attacking person in a combat. If someone is low on energy, click on someone else and have them preform the action instead.
Note the red warning symbol there at the bottom left. When it gets near 99.99% Xana will activate the other tower.
Once Xana activates the other tower you will be flooded with 4 kankrelats at a time, on top of the monsters already in the factory.
It is essential to destroy the virtual energy power (you can read about it down below) first. Otherwise its going to look like this very quickly on both sides. Be fast, don't let it happen.
Do not send the Aelita or the others to the other tower anticipating its activation.
If you do, Xana will start taking over your activated tower instead, forcing you to shut down more scanners and allocate more energy to it. If he manages to take over your tower, you get a game over.
Save yourself the headache and just play defense because we have a tactic to shut it down without needing “Code: Lyoko”.
rplans
which shows the blueprint of the replika, revealing the locations of all object on each floor. There is a legend with rmap.legend
which shows a list of objects and their descriptions. Most of them aren't available as of now.
The available objects are:
While translated the warriors have a transition time. To view it, right click and exit the interface and look to the left monitor. You can also see it by having their respective navskid window open.
Starting off it looks the same as usual virtual combat but its not. The Warrior cards only have one bar. Its for AP AND HP. For an indept breakdown and explanation for it, refer to our Replika Combat.
There's a lot of fun stuff to look at and explore but we need to smash and grab this place before our Translation time expires and we run out of resources and our shot.
Once you get to a door you will be given a prompt. Click “interact (door)”.
Most of the rooms have monsters waiting for you in there. You can't see them until the door is open.
The options Vary depending who is interacting with it.
Aelita - can hack locks (1 energy)
Ulrich/William - can shatter locks (1 energy)
Crypto can freely hack any door given that you have enough energy to use it. Everytime the crypto is used, it will enter a two and a half minute cooldown.
Once you defeat the monsters click on the Generator to walk up to it and click the “interact” prompt, then click “destroy”.
Tower is deactivated and Xana's flood of kankrelat's are gone. We can breathe a little. Still expect enemies on the objectives.
When any of your warrior loses their TP or their transition time ends instead of getting devirtualized, they will be sent back to the skid, unconscious for one and a half minute.
When you have to, send in the remaining warriors to finish the job.
Run the sktrans.ein
and sktrans.exe
to get your next two people to teleport in and swap out. Make sure they are on the pod spots and ready for energize.
Switch the program to sktrans.tpin
and select your next two warriors. I will be using Ulrich and Yumi this time.
Example: sktrans.yumi
sktrans.ulrich
After waking up, your unconscious warriors are ready to defend the skid. Send 'em out. sktrans.eout
sktrans.all
sktrans.exe
.
With our fresh warriors in the replika factory, send them to where you left off and have them clear the objectives.
Next let's move on to our win condition. We can take out the force field generators protecting the computer and smash it, or kill the coolant systems to overheat the computer and melt it.
There can be 2-3 power generators and 2-3 coolant generators on a replika. The best case scenario is that there's only 2 coolaant generators, given that you only need to destroy them and nothing else unlike the power generators where you still have to destroy the computer itself.
Once you have beat the last objective you will get a prompt in the bottom right of your screen.
This is your prompt telling you to GET OUT FAST because the sector is being deleted.
Leaving without Warriors or failing to undock will cause everyone to be xanafied. Quickly run sktrans.ein
sktrans.exe
(if someone is still outside of the skid). You can run skid.do.undock
from here and make the skid force teleport them back in.
Optional - Teleport them out fast sktrans.tpout
sktrans.ulrich
sktrans.yumi
sktrans.exe
.
Optional - Devirt everyone and initiate sktrans.autopilot.on
- Turns on autopilot; Skid will enter a low-power mode and navigate on it's own back to the skid garage.
Every ones onboard, LEAVE. skid.do.undock
skid.do.leave
skid.to.sea
skid.do.dive
.
Now enjoy the show, and CONGRATULATIONS.
After the replika gets destroyed, you will get a new alert on the agenda, called "Dangerous digital sea". While it's up, the danger level will start from 60% instead of 0% so you better watch out on your way back to Lyoko!
The book ‘Punic Wars’ is in reference to the actual Punic Wars, a series of wars that took place over the course of 118 years between the Roman Republic and Ancient Carthage. The password for Carthage, ‘Scipio’, is likely in reference to the roman generals, Scipio Africanus of the Second Punic War, and/or Scipio Aemilianus of the Third Punic War.
The names the Replikas - Mountain specifically - take on are likewise, names of cities integral to the Punic Wars and the conquest history of the Roman Empire.
