¶ How to save a warrior from the Frontier
Welcome to the guide where you'll learn How to save a LyokoWarrior from the Frontier.
Frontier is a place between the virtual world and the real world where your LyokoWarrior(s) are currently in. To save them you need to have at least one LyokoWarrior in Lyoko. (It is recommended to have Aelita in Lyoko as she can do the process the fastest)
¶ Monitor the warrior's status
Open the link with the command link and select the LyokoWarrior who got stuck in the frontier. By doing this you can see something like this:
As we can see Odd is stuck in the Frontier and slowly disappearing. You have to save him before they are completely gone.
¶ Get an LW to a waytower/interface
If your LW is in a surface sector (Forest, Ice, Mountain, Desert) you have to take them to a waytower.
Waytowers are the towers 1 and 10. (Or if your LW is in Carthage/Sector 5, you have to take them to the bridge where they can access the Interface).
However if your LW was sent to the Frontier on a Replika, then you need to get their data back from a replika tower (Doesn't matter which).
Once they are in the tower use the Go up (tower) action. Keep in mind if you retrieve data at the Carthage interface, then monsters can attack your LW. So bring at least one more LW to protect the other.
¶ Retrieve the LW's data
Once your LW is at the Interface of the Tower or in Carthage, use the Retrieve data action as shown below:

After it is done you can see that the red minus changed to a green plus so now we've got all the data that is needed to save him:
¶ Get LW out from the frontier
Now if your LW didn't have a deadly devirt, you can just simply use: devirt, devirt.LWNAME and devirt.exe.
If your LW had a deadly devirt or you simply want to revirtualize them to Lyoko you can use: frontrevirt, frontrevirt.LWNAME and frontrevirt.exe. (Your LW will have 10HP and 1 AP)
Congratulations, they have been saved!
Be careful about their DNA problems or having the scanners off, so they don't get sent to the Frontier again.

¶ Pro-Tip:
It is possible to increase the speed of a Frontier rescue by having other Lyokowarriors go to other waytowers and having them ‘Retrieve Data’. This may not be feasible if you're under pressure from XANA, but still viable if they're at severe risk of deletion.
